  • How can I login into Toys Trunk?
    Toys Trunk does not have a traditional registration process; in an effort to make the use of the site as easy as possible, we are integrating with authentication services you probably already use.

    This method is more secure and convenient for you; instead of having to create a new username and password, you use the ones you already own in services such a Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL or Open Id. The authentication is done at your provider, so we will never handle your password.

    In most cases, the first time you try to authenticate, your provider will prompt a confirmation to allow the interaction with ToysTrunk.com, you must agree to continue using the site. Your provider will send us basic information such as Name and Email Address.

    All information we receive is used strictly for identification purposes and it is not shared with anyone as per our Privacy Policy.
  • Do you do deliveries? If so, what are the charges?
    Yes, we do. Toys Toys Trunk offers delivery subject to an extra charge of $3 for residents in Milton, $4 for residents in Oakville, $7 for residents in Mississuaga and $9 for residents in Burlington.
  • When does the rental period start?
    The rental period will start on the date your order is delivered.
  • What period is covered by the rental fees?
    The fees indicated on the website are for a period of 2 or 4 weeks.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit/advance payment when I order toys?
    No, there isn’t a deposit fee.
  • Can I book items in advance?
    Yes, certainly, but please note that advance booking happens on a first-come, first-serve basis, regardless of the rental period.
  • How are the toys cleaned?
    Toys Trunk takes the health and safety of your children very seriously. Toys are cleaned before and after they are rented, using 100% all-natural antibacterial cleaning products. There will be some wear-and-tear on the toys as they are not brand new. It is, however, still the responsibility of the customer to return the toys to us in their original, clean condition.
  • How fast can I expect to receive my toys?
    You will receive the toys on your selected delivery day and time. However, it is usually one or two business days from the day you place your order.
  • What if I’m missing a toy’s part?
    If you are missing a toy’s part, you have 7 days to find and return it. In the event that you are unable to locate the missing part you will incur in a missing parts fee. Please feel free to contact Toys Trunk in the event that a toy’s part is misplaced and we will be happy to work with you.
  • What happens if the toy brakes while rented?
    We rent out high quality toys and expect each toy to be returned in working order. If a toy is damaged or broken during a rental period, we will determine the extent of the damage and charge a replacement value shown in the invoice, if applicable. This charge excludes the charge for the original rental period.
  • Do I need to keep the box or packaging that the toy came in?
    Yes, you do. All toys rented out in bags, containers or boxes, should be returned in their original packaging unless it is shrink wrap. If a toy is returned without the respective bag, container, box or wrapping, the customer will be charged for the retail cost of a new box, container or bag for the toy.
  • What to do if I need a rental extension?
    A few days before your rental period ends, you will receive a friendly reminder (e-mail). If you want to keep the toys longer, send us an e-mail, and a new order will be processed. The rental fee will be collected on the new pick up date. You will always have priority when it comes to rental extension.
  • Will I receive the exact toy shown on the website?
    Toys Trunk carries only top quality products for rent from highly respected manufacturers. The toy you will receive is of a like kind and quality of the item pictured.
  • What if I need a toy that’s not on your list?
    If for any reason we do not stock a particular toy, please let us know, as we are new to this business and want to make it a success. We are always looking to improve the service we offer as well as our selection.
  • Can I cancel my order?
    You may cancel/change your order free of charge 24 hours before your delivery date. If you cancel your order less than 24 hours before your delivery date and a delivery is attempt a fee of $3 will apply,
  • What kind of toys do you carry?
    Toys Trunk stocks well known brand toys for children from 0 months to 6 years old. Our toys have been selected for their high quality; they are all well known brands, totally safe, and fun to play with. Toys are focused on promoting fine and gross motor, sensory, cognitive and emotional development.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We currently only accept Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) and Paypal.
  • What is your delivery and pickup time?
    Delivery and return of toys is according to dates and times provided by customers.
  • How should the rented toys be handled?
    It is your responsibility to treat our toys gently and keep them in the best shape. Customers must adhere to Toys Trunk’s Toy Care Policies.
  • Do I have to clean the toys before returning them?
    Yes, you do. It’s the responsibility of the customer to return the toys to us in their original, clean condition.
  • Are the toys delivered with batteries?
    Yes, the toys are loaded with batteries when they are delivered. We do not replace a battery if it dies while the customer has the toy.
